Troubleshooting ETH Withdrawal Failed Transactions on Ledger Live
Last updated: December 18, 2024
If you're experiencing difficulties withdrawing your unstaked ETH from the Kiln dApp using Ledger Live, follow these steps to resolve common issues:
1. Ensure Proper Device Connection and Updates
Verify that your Ledger device is properly connected.
Update Ledger Live to the latest version.
Ensure your Ledger device firmware is up-to-date.
2. Check for Pending Transactions
Pending transactions can interfere with new withdrawal attempts. To resolve this:
Check your wallet address on Etherscan for any pending transactions.
In Ledger Live, go to the "Latest Operations" section of your Ledger Account.
Cancel any pending transactions you see. For guidance, refer to the Ledger support article on cancelling transactions.
3. Address Gas Price Issues
If your transaction is not being included in blocks, it may be due to a low gas price:
Check if your transaction's gas price is below the current base fee on Etherscan.
If so, you need to speed up the transaction by offering a higher gas price.
For future transactions, ensure you choose a reasonable amount of gas fees. Learn more about gas fees in this Ledger support article.
Note: Both cancelling and speeding up transactions on the Ethereum network require paying a gas fee.
