Ledger Live Dedicated Staking - How to withdraw?

Last updated: December 11, 2024

With dedicated staking, you're locking your ETH to fund a validator and get ETH rewards. If you've staked with Kiln through Ledger Live, you can easily monitor your stake or initiate a withdrawal. Follow these steps:

Where to find your Validator?

  1. Open Ledger Live

  2. Navigate to the "Discover" section

  3. Search for "Kiln"

  4. Go to "Portfolio" > "Dedicated staking"

  5. Here, you can view the status of your validator (e.g., "Active")

Exit your validator and withdraw your 32 ETH deposit

  1. In "Portfolio" > "Dedicated staking" section, select your validator.

  2. Click "Request exit" and confirm the transaction.

  3. Wait for the process to complete. Note that the withdrawal process can take up to 9 days to be fully processed.

  4. Once the status of your validator changes to "Ready to withdraw", select the Validator again and click on "Withdraw rewards".

  5. In the next step, in the "To" field you will see a smart contract address. This is normal and expected as you are calling a smart contract to withdraw your stake. The Value of ETH to be transferred will show as 0. This is also normal, as you're not transferring ETH to the contract, but interacting with it to release your funds.
