How often are Tezos (XTZ) staking rewards distributed?

When staking Tezos (XTZ), rewards are distributed according to the native Tezos baking cycle, not on a daily basis. Here's what you need to know:

  • The first rewards are activated 1 cycle after your stake becomes active (approximately 20-23 days + 2.83 days).

  • Subsequent rewards are distributed at the end of every cycle (approximately every 2.83 days).

Important Notes on XTZ Staking

  • In Tezos staking, there is no separate "delegated portion." When you delegate your wallet, any additional balances are automatically re-delegated.

  • The entire balance in your delegated wallet is considered for staking rewards.
