How to pay invoices for Kiln's staking services
Last updated: December 18, 2024
This article explains the process for paying invoices related to Kiln's staking services, for Ethereum (ETH) staking.
Understanding your invoice
Kiln's invoices detail the commission owed for staking services. For Ethereum staking, all staking rewards for ETH are sent directly to your wallet, so Kiln does not automatically deduct the commission. As such, we will send you an invoice for the commission owed.
Payment process
You will receive an invoice detailing the commission owed to Kiln together with a report on the staking rewards (both in ETH and fiat currency).
We recommend you review the invoice together with the report, to understand the context of the invoice.
Pay the invoiced amount in ETH to Kiln's designated wallet address.
Sending payment
When sending payment:
Use the Ethereum wallet address provided by Kiln's Finance Team for payments (given in the invoice)
It's possible, but not mandatory, to send a small test transaction first (e.g., 0.01 ETH) to ensure the correct wallet address.
After confirmation of the test transaction, send the remaining balance.
Billing frequency
The default billing cycle is quarterly, but monthly billing can be arranged upon request. If you need to change your billing frequency:
Contact your Kiln representative to request a change in billing frequency.
Kiln will prepare an updated order form reflecting the new billing cycle.
Both parties will need to sign the new order form to formalize the change.
Additional notes
Keep your invoicing email addresses up to date with Kiln to ensure timely receipt of invoices.
If you have any questions about your invoice or the payment process, don't hesitate to reach out to your Kiln representative.
